Raising Ravens is the solo project for songwriter, guitarist and singer Jess Finlayson. Starting out as the lead guitarist for all female hard rock renegades Nitocris followed by the infamous Fyreflyes, Jess has been touring, writing and recording since the age of 15. More recently being the founding member lead singer/lead guitarist for The Mis-Made, who are currently on hiatus, the focus is now on recording a Raising Ravens solo album involving a variety of Finlayson's favourite musicians with long-standing producer Lachlan Mitchell at the helm.

With 3 singles and film clip releases so far, the third of which “It’s a Trap”, hit the Number 1 spot on Australia’s AMRAP Metropolitan Airplay charts, and has been added to playlists around the world including USA, UK, Canada, Egypt & Brazil.

Raising Ravens are now heading out on a mini tour of NSW in support of the latest sing, “Evil On Call”, that will be followed up with a film-clip including live footage and backstage tour antics from the NSW tour.

Smitty & B.Goode are a punk tinged 3 piece and have been playing their rebellious rock around Australia for long enough to know better.
