Boo Lawson brings sonic upheaval to your ears from outta Sydneys Inner-West. The music he writes aims to bring a fresh approach to lyricism and songwriting. Hes a rapper who does his own beats and toys with whatever instruments he can get his hands on. The result has been described as “totally unique”, a sound difficult to describe as Boo draws on all sorts of fragmented disciplines. Its often political, its often fun. It can get moody, but it’s music made with a view to being genuine.
